Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 7th December 2015]

That's the unbelievable thing with their success so far is that it's mostly with the team they had in the Championship and clubs didn't want their players then. Schmeichael, Morgan, De Laet, Drinkwater, King, Schlupp, Simpson, Vardy etc. They have brought in some really good players but it might be another Southampton where the individuals that get bought don't excel in bigger teams. Marhrez is a perfect age and quality to fit in, Vardy should just stay put and seek a better contract.

Edit: I just looked at their results, their biggest challenges were Arsenal (lost at home), Spurs (drew at home), West Ham (won away) and Southampton (drew away). The other games you would expect them with their team and additions to get results, the draw away at Stoke was good. We will see how they fair in the coming games!

Yup and arsenal took care of them well .

Also Leciester has had **** all injuries to be fair. they would get spanked by a full strength top side iMO.

lots of hype they are.

They aint even playing that brillliant football

I'm not so sure to be honest. The main thing most of the top sides have is consistency. They win a lot of games when they are not playing well. Most of the traditional top sides this season are having a lot of unexpected losses so if Leicester can keep going as they are then they will finish high up the league.

So outscoring everyone else in the league is not playing good football?

The Arsenal game showed a certain naivety in thinking that they could go toe-to-toe against a better side and they were outplayed. I don't think they would be so open if they were to play now, although I would still expect them to lose.

In terms of Leicester losing their best players, I can see Mahrez going in the summer but hopefully we'll keep hold of him in January. I don't see Vardy going anywhere though, mainly due to his age and having only had this one good season in the top flight. Plus his style of play will not suit everyone.

Ridiculous shooting from Palace here, that's 2 or 3 times they've shot from the best part of 35/40 yards with shocking efforts.

Love Bolasie though, good luck defending against him, he hasn't a clue what his legs are going to do so defenders have no chance.
