Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 7th December 2015]

As frustrating as it is at the moment to watch United at the moment once we get a proper striker/ finisher we should be sorted for few years.

Indeed, but does anyone think after this season he'll be at the top of the league again?

If he were to move this summer he could still have 3, 4 maybe 5 years (depending on injury) in a very good team.

He could become a reliable 20 goal a season guy for several years with the right team around him

Its more about the consistency of the supply and how that's done (either with an AM or fast winger), although a more experienced (and fit) striker wouldn't hurt either

Sign Vardy, he's broken a record that takes more than just playing semi-decently for the same team for years on end with immunity to being dropped. ;):p

He will be at a big club already if Leicester win the league

True

If the papers are to be believed Leicester are trying to lock him down with a new £90k pw contract to stop that happening.

I'm not sure how may years he has left on his contract, if someone were to offer him 150k, that'd be nearly double 90k. Not sure where is loyalty lies though..

Same as pretty much any footballer I would've thought, the loyalty will lie where the money is, can't say i'd blame him either.
