Quinn knows the rules better than you ;)

People often forget that there needs to be 2 oppo players behind the attacker, 1 usually being the keeper. Courtois was out of his goal though. It was close but it was offside.

AS the others said, you've got to have two men between the goal and the attacker, the keeper is 99% of the time 1 of those 2 so 99% of the time it's one outfield player and one keeper. If the keeper moves forward you need two normal outfield players, Cahill alone wasn't enough for him to be onside.

Thanks for explaining. I've played football for an academy and I don't recall this ever being brought up, ouch...
 
Terrible attempt to shoot, I mean, you can score from there but you want to feign pulling it back to get the keeper to move out then slot it in. Instead he just moved what half a metre from Courtois then passed it into him with no chance to score. With two players moving into space in the box for the pull back it was pretty criminal taking such a crap shot. Hell, just give up and go back to the corner if you have to.
 
The worst thing about this for Chelsea is that even when they manage a win, and you think things will pick up, they don't.

Could Jose go?
