Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 7th October 2019]

Sacked in the morning? I didn't read the article but one of the papers earlier had a headline with Ole saying his players weren't fit enough, well errm, it's his responsibility to get them fit he had a whole pre-season.
That was last season when he came in

I dont know what Ole is doing actually, i don't what decisions he's in control of, because letting Lukaku & Sanchez leave, two senior players and not bringing anyone else in is schoolboy stuff.

But but, he has James and Greenwood, neither established (or even close).

He talks up Greenwood as the best striker ever, and sure he has some promise, but he's not reliable.

Who would we replace him with?

To be honest, we need to sort out a director of football and then go for a manager who has some experience building a team, and can instil a philosophy going forward.

There are loads out there, forgetting the fact he played for us, we've appointed a manager from the Norwegian League (which is more like the Conference) who also had a short, total failure of a spell at Cardiff.

The majority of top flight managers would be better.

Yeh, Woodward is the worst weak link at Utd.

Has made a lot of bad errors and decisions.

Fred is the worst player I've ever seen.

He's not being played in the correct role, that's the problem, the manager aint giving him a chance really. It's obvious the guy is tackler and player who's good at closing down, he's a ball winning midfielder or what not. And if Ole is going to play 4-2-3-1, you can't have him in the middle 2.

Still can’t think of any that aren’t already taken that would be around for the long term.

Poch in Jan would be good. Allegri wouldn’t be good in my opinion.

Carroll still elbowing people then, bit lucky there with Mike Dean as ref. Dean probably wants rid of Solskjaer as well. :D
