Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5th - 6th November 2011]

Annoying that its another game with dropped points but its been a great game to watch, how we haven't scored in the last five minutes though is amazing.

Another disappointing performance. I'd say Kenny needs some different team selections but there wasn't even much on the bench to make a difference.
 
Easy. Actually easy. Arsenal made a game look easy. I'm in shock.

Jenkinson was fantastic today. You read that right. Great tackling, great marking, great going forward, absolutely fantastic crossing. The kid's not bad, it turns out.

At least that makes up for that United performance, that's two 1-0 wins in a row and all I can think of to sum up United lately is 'boring'. There's an absolute ocean of difference between how we were playing at the start of the season and how we're playing now. Let's hope things improve, otherwise City could be off in the distance before long.
 
Pathetic from Liverpool today, top 4 not a chance in hell we can't even beat Swansea at home, awful in the 2nd half apart from the last 10mins.
 
Utter tripe from us, Only swansea will be happy.

Only effort we put in was in the last 5mins which is too little too late. Downing should have come off, Henderson should never play on the right.

Swansea could have easily got the 3pts luckily for us they fluffed there easy efforts.

Not happy! :(

6 home games, 4 draws and 3 of those against Sunderland, Norwich and Swansea.

We're not getting top 4 and we'll struggle to get in Europe. Dalglish took his chance last season but he's been no better than Hodgson this season. It's bad enough that he's making mistakes left, right and centre but he's not learning from them game to game.

I fully expect Carragher to walk straight back in to the team when he's fit, despite that being our 6th straight clean sheet with Agger and Skrtel at the back, and Downing and Henderson will no doubt contiue to play despite offering us absolutely nothing on the wings.

Jenkinson could have walked off with a number of assists if people actually bothered to attack his crosses.

Sounds like Chelsea, United and Liverpool have all been crap today. :)
