Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5th - 6th November 2011]

Didn't turn up at all for the first 85 minutes; a slow and disjointed performance and it would have been harsh on Swansea had we won it at the end. Similarly frustrating result to the Sunderland, Norwich and Utd games but we deserved to win those games, we didn't today.

We're not playing a flat 4-4-2 for a start (the right sided player always plays tucked in) but Spurs and today aside, of the games we've dropped points in, we've dominated them all and would have won comfortably had our finishing been slightly better and/or we had a bit of luck with refereeing decisions.

That said, something does need to change; after a good start Downing's performances have started to tail off and with playing Henderson tucked in on the right, we've not got any width to attack down that side.

If we are to switch to a 4-3-3 it would probably mean leaving Carroll out because Suarez will have to be the central forward as you'll be wasting him outwide. I'd be tempted to stick with the current system but bring Maxi in for Henderson and possibly Bellamy for Downing.

Great villa win, bit nervy defensively but oh my word did Agbonlahor rip Norwich apart today. hes been our best player so far this season absolutely fantastic. On another positive Bent grabbed 2, hes been getting a TAD bit of stick for about 2 weeks for missing 1/2 sitters but fantastic finishing today, 5/6 goals now, this will start a run of goalscoring form now hopefully :)
