Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5th - 6th November 2011]

Fulham got plenty of decisions their way, that handball would have been very harsh.

Depends which penalty shout he's talking about?

There was the blatent Sidwell push in the back when Parker drove into the fulham penalty area... then Kyle Walker fell on the ball, which would have been extremely harsh.

I wasn't sure about the Sidwell one, but the Walker one was basically hugging the ball! Either way though, we had 20+ shots on target, and just didn't score. Didn't help not having AJ, but still need to start finishing things off. Hopefully AJ's injury isn't a bad one otherwise we've only got Zamora fit striker wise.

definitely, walker couldn't have done a thing about it, it was comical though tbh, especially in slow mo, was like a playground kick about!

don't forget, parker was barged off the ball by sidwell not long before, that was definitely a penalty!

good to see friedel really enjoying his time at spurs. his reaction to lennons goal was brilliant.

Honestly Richards must have ****** Capello's wife to be this consistently overlooked for RB. Johnson? Really?!
Thank goodness that Richards is not. It is a shame we have Lesc, Milner and Johnson still there.

All these stupid friendlies do is add more games to a what i hope will be a long season for us so the less of these games the better.

To be honest Simpson, Walker, Richards (in no particular order) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Walkers Mother >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Richards discarded sock >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Johnson

Johnson in the England squad and Richards isn't.... lol seriously!

Will Kenwright and Elstone be complaining about the injustice also or will they be too busy preparing the Jack Rodwell England International DVD?

Not a set of Internationals go by without Azza complaining about a Liverpool player in the England squad :p

Werid game, if Hugo had put Wigan up 1-0 who knows, goal kick from his miss Wolves scored

Got back to 1-1, keeper did his job, defenders shambles

Awful game, but 3 points is 3 points! :D :D :D
Wigan lucky to still have 10

stfu, Wigan was as good as you, what about Hunt

Wigan need a decent striker, I can't believe how many sitters they missed.

This is true, Hugo was a disgrace

Pleased that Wolves won.

please go

You and the rest of England mate :p

I don't know, on the other hand i actually enjoy seeing England fall flat (again / as per usual).

Havn't been remotely interested in the Eng team since ... well, ever really.
Most northerners i speak to seem to feel the same, a bit like with the farce that is the Olympics.

It's a source of great frustration for me to be honest. I hate how we always look so completely clueless, so obviously disjointed, and how our club football is so massively superior in every way. Yet every time we enter into a major competition I get suckered in and get well involved. More than happy to watch us get smashed 5-0 by Spain in a friendly though. Hope all the goals are the fault of the right back too, just to rub it in :D

I'd like to see Simpson given a chance as well, always looked a good prospect at United until his days were ultimately numbered once the twins came on the scene. Seems to have nailed down the RB spot at Newcastle though.

Absolutely loved Walker when he was on loan at Villa. Glad to see he's still going strong. I am left wondering how Bale can claim that goal though, looks as though it was going to swing away from the goal without the deflection.

Had there been no one on the line I reckon it would have sneaked in the far post however both the keeper and a second defender was back on the line so had it not been for Baird I really dont think it would have gone in so OG for me
