Didn't even deserve a point there, DDG giving us yet another unrepresentative result.
Get Mourinho in ASAP. It isn't like it can get much worse. We are 6 points off top 4 so the only way is up.
I know it's fun to hammer LvG but if Depay can play the simplest through ball of all time to Schneiderlin at 1-0 and Utd's defence not stepped aside for Costa then Utd walk out 2-0 winners and well worth it too.
I'm not saying it will get worse but it clearly can get worse. People seem to forget that Mourinho just got sacked for having Chelsea near the relegation zone.

DDG put in some amazing saves to keep us ahead/level and we sat back for the last 30 minutes of the game. The problem was 90% tactical. Defenders will make mistakes, especially young ones. We essentially invited Chelsea to score for 1/3 of the game after playing pretty well when we actually tried to score and play in a positive manner.
Ultimately a very small part of Mourinho's career though. An anomaly.
I know the LvG debate goes beyond today but today in isolation you can't have any justifiable complaints with him imo.
.
As much of a mess Chelsea are in, they're still a very capable side with players than cause any team problems. In these big games your keeper is always going to be called upon a couple of times throughout the 90 minutes but overall today there was no tactical or structural problems. Utd were the better side and had it not been for 2 awful individual mistakes Utd walk out comfortable winners and no questions are asked.

And fwiw, I'd hold Blind to blame for their goal ahead of the young LB. His decision to chase Terry outside the box leaving Costa free was braindead.
He wasn't fired by Inter and officially speaking from Real either.
When Perez announced he left "by mutual consent" he was effectively sacked
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal, speaking to Sky Sports: "Deep frustration because we were the better team. Again. And we didn’t win. We had the better chances but we didn't win.
"We played a superb game until the last quarter. Then we did not keep the ball in the way I think we have to. Then, we were unlucky and we get a goal against us. It is unbelievable. We don’t reward ourselves.
"This is also because Chelsea is pushing with long balls and more aggression but nevertheless you have to keep the ball and be composed when you defend; you are not kicking the ball way without any meaning. Also we could have scored again after the first goal but you don’t reward yourselves. When you play such a game against a team like Chelsea, you have to reward yourself."
rofl can't have any justifiable complaints with lvg? That is delusional. Anyone could see that sitting back for the best part of 25 mins and letting them attack at will was going to result in them scoring.
