Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [6th - 11th April 2012]

Not that I know of. I didn't get to the match, stupid work got in the way again. My dad hasn't said anything though, and he went. But nope, not heard a thing about it.

He was limping for a bit in the match Saturday, maybe your text was via a very, very slow satellite? :p

God damnit, I hope he stops scoring either way! :p

Not many games left now, I think the top three will go up, I personally don't want to do it via to play offs.

Charlton are over rated and pap and the Good Sheffield Side and the other team I don't like to talk about from Sheffield are the teams ending the season in form.

:D

I think it will be the top 3 that go up, I just think we'd struggle in the play off's for some reason. Maybe I just have bad memories? I still remember crying against Crystal Palace, Wolves and Burnley. :(

I do agree that Charlton are pap though. They beat teams up into conceding and then just sit back constantly, horrible to watch.

I agree about Charlton, second worst side we have had a H'borogh this season. Awful. Really do hope they collapse and the two Sheffield sides get automatic promotion, but that's doubtful.

Charlton will do well to survive on that type of football in the Championship.

Who are the worst? Yourselves by any chance? ;)

If Evans/McDonald are found guilty/leaves then we will be stuffed in the Championship. We looked very average when McDonald was out for a few games a little while a go.

That would be Preston :D

Played them a couple of games back, just amazing that a team can be just, well that poor and negative. It took a lot to top Charlton, who were horrific.

Guilty? I've not heard anything about this?

Ahh yeah, forgot about them! Listened to it on the Radio at work, sounded awful! :p

I meant if Evans is found guily or leaves, or if McDonald leaves. Evans has his trial at the end of the season some time I think. Doubt he will be found guilty though.

Wait, wait, what is he being accused of? Why do I not know about this? This is another stick to beat you with! We have our very own arsonist in Madine and general mentalist in Ranger :D

It was incredible to watch dude, Preston were almost playing a different sport, horrific stuff and the manager is suitably mental too, ****, but mental.

Do you live under a bleeding rock?! :o He's being charged with rape. Isn't Reda Johnson also a mentalist? A mate told me handcuffed someone to radiator or something?!

Oh yeah, his interview after the match incredible. I thought it was a mental version of Kenny Dalglish!

I did not know this?! WHY WASN'T I AWARE OF THIS? LITERALLY (RICHARD) SO MUCH AMMUNITION. God dammit.

Reda is mental, he's less mental then Madine, well, Reda doesn't set fire to things / people, so far anyway.

Reda is an absolute monster though! Surprised someone didn't come in for him over January. Monster.

He's just mental, he was renown for it at Stevenage and his poor football / negative tactics, but you ignore him because he's the manager of Stevenage, Preston are a bigger club and as a result he's given a bigger platform to show of his mentalness.

A close friend is from Stevenage and she said he was utterly mental when he left :) quite enjoy these bat **** crazy people in the lower leagues.

Saying that, I really want us to pinch Smithies from Huddersfield, we need a long term number one and neither of the 'keepers we have at the minute are good enough. FM legend.

Hahahaha! I can't believe you didn't know! :o

That Preston manager is an absolute fruitcake, but I don't even want to know his name, in case his crazy rubs off on me. :(

Anyway, we need Smithies. Simonsen is our number 1, and he's awful at his very, very best.

I haven't seen the interview, but Burton is still a ****.

I don't like the way the media bait or ask stupid questions, bugs me.

Dalglish's interviews are hilarious recently, what a laughing stock he has become.

Indeed. Everyone probably has an aspect of their job they don't like, being a popular person at that particular company doesn't give you the right to act like an arse to people.

I bet a lot of (level headed) Liverpool fans are a bit embarrassed by his behaviour of late. Childish in the extreme.

It's a strange feeling actually, to not care when your team has just gotten beaten in the last minute against 10 men. That's what happens when the club you've supported for most of your life turns into an absolute joke, with a clown of a manager and owners that don't have a clue either.

Could be worse, you could be a liverpool fan. :p

<tongue firmly in cheek/keep your hair on/calm down, calm down>

Rodwell pulled his hamstring again, this time in training. Moyes is hoping to get Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt on the job to sort him out.

Should have bloody sold him last summer!! :(

Incase anyone is interested here is the interview with Graham Carr,it's been cut down from the one I heard

http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/drivetime/120402/graham-carr-cabaye-tiote-ben-arfa-and-cisse-168647

Really good interview and he speaks some sense and it's no wonder he gets good players, watching Cisse and Tiote for 3/4 years.

Cabaye the club wanted 10mill we found his get out clause and got him for 4.5mill :D same with Cisse getting price down to 8mill from 15 :D

Lol at the Ben Arfa the story about him getting in bother at Lyon for falling asleep when he was on the bench :D

Errr... I didn't realise Alan Carr was his son :D:p

yes, Sky should sack him

seriously thiough, Man Utd fans criticsing the way another manager deals with the media, oh dear
