Just because other players dive doesn't make what Suarez does any less terrible. Diving is bad mmkay.

There are certain posters on here who just almost can not say anything negative about their own team, and certain ones that can not say anything nice about their own team and some people that are quite level headed. Just the way this place is.

I had noticed a nasty side to RVP as an Arsenal player and he has shown it in almost every game for us so far. He is fortunate to escape punishment but the two stamps were of a far more violent nature, so this seems more a case of general FA incompetence, rather than the MU bias spoken about by many since the weekend.

Suarez brings all the attention onto himself by repeated acts of cheating and violence. His manager does him and his club a disservice by trying to shift the blame onto others. He is the problem and only he can change how he is viewed by others by changing his ways. Managers and fans making excuses for him will not help the situation.

As for the previous page Rooney vs Rvp debate, I think DM has a habit of focusing too much on a players technical ability instead of the value they are able to bring to their team. In addition, you clearly have strong opinions on various players and seem too stubborn to re-consider them.
For me, although Rooney has had many games when he's terrible, over a season the work he does for his team in defense, creativity and goals makes him a special player, who is probably only behind the La Liga 2 in terms of worth to his club. That is not to say he is the third most gifted.

What acts of violence has Suarez done for us? Also pretty sure stamping on someones chest is worse than diving, justsayin

Whether he done it for us or not, he did bite somebody. I think it's safe to say that that'll be used against him from time to time.

I recall a nasty kick on someone right after his ban and an incident with Ivanovic. But it's true that it was for previous clubs he committed his worst assaults. As much as I may dislike him, I am certainly not trying to suggest he is the worst offender - just that he should look at his actions and stop making excuses.

I can't recall those, the one I can think of was when he went for the ball and kicked top lad Scotty Parker I'm the chest with eyes on the ball. Can't recall if that was last season with the huge Bale dive or when they beat us 2-0 at ease season before

err wasn't it his first game back after his 8 game ban?

i mean, there's obviously no intent with either incident. is there?

He is. Scott Parker and Kevin Bond both were happy that there was no intention from Suarez.

lol.

let's just concentrate on the huge bale dive when we beat you 2-0 then?

ftr. the game where parker got kicked, was 0-0. the other game we beat you 4-0.

i would assume that when we beat you 2-0. parker wasn't a spurs player.

What is with the use of proper grammar and then the complete opposite?

Also yes no intent on the kick to the chest, the eye gouge I don't know, a still picture tells nothing.

right ok. so i assume he thought parker and king, would simply dissapear?

this was discussed in depth at the time, i don't really see the point in going over it again. let's just leave it until the next suarez incident.

let's just leave it until the next suarez incident.

You mean the next overblown incident involving Luis that the media and opposition fans can demonise him with, whilst ignoring far worse examples of what people are slaughtering him for.

Conversely also ignoring far worse physical incidents that happened in the same game to him (and others) that weekend?

It's not worth the hassle Newbie. Whether we like it or not, Suarez is the poster boy for all things evil in football (and before anybody says something, yes, if he didn't do some of the things he does then it wouldn't be the case) and no matter what he does now, it will always be blown out of proportion.

It was no different in the past when it was the likes of Ronaldo or Cantona. And by the same token, you're always going to have players that can be seen as doing no wrong in the media's eyes.

Very true, I remember an Ajax fan saying at the time we bought him that we will love the guy and fans of other teams will hate him.

Me, I love him. I just wish we would use him properly!

right okay. so I assume no player has ever tried to win a high ball with their foot before with others near?

I'd hate him if he played for another team in the league, he over exaggerates, occasionally dives and is bloody good, not much to like but that doesn't change the fact he takes a retarded amount of abuse from idiots, it's amazing he's stayed here after the treatment he gets on the pitch and has been labelled a racist due to someone being probably more reliable
