Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [6th - 8th November 2015]

Disappointing result but Palace got their tactics spot on today. Defended in numbers when we had the ball and attacked with pace down the flanks when Clyne and Moreno were pushed up.

We didn't play bad but Benteke desperately needs a striker partner. There's simply not enough movement or runs ahead of the midfield.

Zaha MotM and by a massive distance.
 
Losing to a poor decision made by Mignolet sucks, A keeper should never punch down when he has that many players in front of him, Especially if its point blank shot catch the dam ball!

Benteke missing 2 good headers, We did cancel each other out really, We need some strikers fit damit!

Countinho probably our best player today.

One especially bad one, free header from 5 yards and he took it off Koscielny who you'd put your house on scoring. One other was a glancing header, good save.... can't think of another sitter he missed.

He did have a shot from a corner that he should've done better with, but I wouldn't have called that a sitter.
 
Henderson will walk back in to the team once he's fit, probably for Can and Firmino will be starting in place of Ibe before too long. They should help us in attack but one of Lallana or Coutinho (hopefully Lallana) will have to be sacrificed for a second striker to keep the balance.

Edit: Origi looks like the kind of player Souness would've bought for Southampton having heard about him from his dad.
