Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th - 11th December 2018]

I'm a bit surprised by our line up this afternoon. I had a feeling Aubameyang might have been benched for this one to give him a bit a break before the Christmas schedule. Also looks like we're sticking with a back 3, despite the injury to Holding when a 4-3-3 might have made more sense

Decent performance from us today so far, but it's worth remembering Fulham are pretty awful.

Pogba benched again.

Fulham are an awful side so this match doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. If we can stick a run of 5-6 games together I might change my mind. None of our usual issues are apparent because Fulham are like a really budget version of us.

Some strange decisions from the ref in that half. Mystified as to why Xhaka gets a yellow card for being fouled, incorrectly disallowed Lacazette's goal and then booked Mustafi for a dive when he was clearly fouled in the box.

The goal was off side

He was offside from the Aubameyang flick, but not 'active'. The ball is then played back by the Huddersfield player, creating a new phase of play, during which he was onside. The goal should have stood

That's what the commentators on my stream said. Auba looked onside just a minute ago too; officiating not the best today.

Thats a soft second yellow for Anguissa for Fulham. Tackle was fine, just had a bit of bite and didn't make contact. Rashford tried to get out of the way making it look like it was nasty.
