Got a clear header at it and knocked it right across the box though, not brilliant.

Draw is probably a fair result. They dominated the first half but we dominated most of the second. Plus their goal had a huge deflection.

The biggest disappointment was not closing on City after their slip up vs Hull yesterday

At least we are back in 3rd -edit my mistake was forgetting Southampton's last ditch goal themselves hahaha

We were lucky to get a draw at the end there but based on how both teams played it was a fair result.

No idea what Clattenburg was thinking a lot of the game but hey ho. Don't think he was biased particularly, just odd.

In all seriousness though, we are utterly awful going forward. We might as well just play long balls instead as we were suddenly creating loads of problems doing that (and have done all season).

If we want to play a passing game, we need to play the likes of Mata and Herrera, especially the latter.

Hopefully LvG is in agreement and tries some different things.

Happy with the point in the end, given how terrible we were until part way through the second half, disappointing at the same time though.

Just imagine if Man Utd played Herrera and Blind in midfield - we would have some goals from midfield........but lvg insists on using players in strange positions

We've won the league more than once while playing rubbish football so I don't think it really matters.

and Man Utd have been missing goals from midfield (like Toure / Lampard etc) for much longer than goals missing from forwards

Why no Herrera?

Will still be happy if we scrape a top 4 finish but we better start playing better next season! We desperately need a Matic/Yaya type player to boss people around.
