Sunderland are a dreadful team and given the state of the club over the last few seasons it's difficult to have too much sympathy for them but they had no luck today. At 1-0 they should have had a pen and Utd would have been down to 10 men but naive play from Anichebe gave the ref an out, then minutes later they're down to 10 themselves and it's game over. Even their red card, although it probably was just about the correct decision for me, it's one of those that 9 times out of 10 ends up in a yellow but the way things are going for Sunderland it was always going to be a red.
