On another note not sure why we signed Cabella and got rid of Ben Arfa. He offers nothing more, probably a little lessif anything. Pretty baffling. Ameobi went off a cliff the second half too, he'd be off if we had Aaron's or Obertan available. Even now I'd get Gouffran on and him off.
I don't understand the league this year, out of the ones who should be performing to a certain standard it seems to be only Arsenal (not amazing but bar last year they've usually been lower than where they are only to end up fourth) and Chelsea. Hate them but that Chelsea team is impressive

Ameobi actually closes down hard, did in the last game but completely ran out of steam in the second half then as well. Cabella is new to the league, country and team, Arfa offered nothing more after years in the team. Likewise Cabella was trying to offer that something special in a team that when he joined was playing dire football. Maybe he'll be good, maybe not, but it's a bit early to judge him.
Ref should give this penalty to Everton, while he did get the ball, a little, he got the player first AND didn't actually get the ball away from the player. There is a difference in reality and the rules, if you tap the ball but it basically doesn't move and the opposition player is still able to run onto it and score then it's still a foul even though you get the ball.

It baffles me why he didnt even get a yellow, let alone a red...

Arsenal are dire, we've won 4 of 10 games and the teams Arsenal have beaten, Palace, Villa, Sunderland and Burnley, it's pretty god damned pathetic, as have been the performances and we needed a huge amount of luck after dismal performances to get the points we got against Palace, Everton, Leicester and Hull.
