Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [8 - 11th December 2012]

We need to beat Norwich, but they seem to be a team we struggle against. [...]
I personally think it's more a case of Lambert than the team - look at our match against Villa. And besides, we're much more capable on the counter than we were last season; Newcastle last year pressed high and harried while we attempted to pass the ball around our own half. Because we couldn't get the ball forward quickly enough, we were hemmed in and at their mercy both times. This isn't happening under Laudrup.

My only concern is that Leon may not be starting; we've been noticeably less solid when he's not on the pitch, and we don't have a natural replacement.

If you have the time, read his posts again.
Sometimes he uses the term 'our' in a context which gives his allegiances away.

Ok i have read it and seems he is a arsenal fan that does not like the way the club is at the moment.

i dont agree on some of his points though. i still think our defence is decent. it is not as bad as the media makes it out to be

Plus I want the salad-dodger Grant Holt to cry like a baby.

Id love someone to beat Norwich, their run has been founded on blind luck from the keeper, organised bullying (and slack reefing) from their defence and that's it.

Grant Holt didn't like the chant "you're just a **** rickie lambert" last week which was funny the first time he missed a sitter and then when he was subbed. Why he ever had the idea of an England call up is beyond me, just a fat lump up front who cannot do anything useful...

All in all they are a painful team to play, the better stoke of this season, aka how to play kick and rush to maximum effect. :(

What the FA says: "No Premier League on TV at 3pm, go and watch the local team". What people hear: "You'll have to stream Saturday matches".

Hmmmm... I could stay in the flat and watch Arsenal - WBA or go into town in the cold and pay £3 to watch Aber Town play Rhyl... though that's on the telly as well so what would be the point of walking 10 minutes and paying £3. :D

SWANS: Tremmel, Rangel, Chico, Williams (c), Davies, de Guzman, Ki, Dyer, Routledge, Michu, Graham.

SWANS SUBS: Cornell, Tiendalli, Monk, Agustien, Bartley, Shechter, Moore.

Britton out, then :(

I really don't get it, I'd imagine the number of people who want to go will still go and if not can stream it anyways.
