Nice dive. Typical of a Man U player.
City's best CB and only LB aren't important?
Iirc from the replay, his view was blocked by a player. Difficult to criticise him for that.If he doesn't see that dive he has no place refereeing a game.... but then it doesn't take that decision for that to be obvious, very poor ref.

City don't have back-up for Mendy which is why a midfielder is playing at LB and Stones has been excellent this season, far and away City's best defender and pivotal to how they play. Not when you have the backup city do. And stones isn’t that good and mendy doesn’t change City. We are missing Pogba so the equivalent player would be De Bruyne.
There are some physical limitations to this though. I'll wait to see it again but at the time I can't recall thinking he was in a poor position - it was simply a case of somebody running in his eye line. There wasn't much he could have done from what I remember but I'll wait to see it again. Not really, it's his job to be in a position to see the ball. If he can't even do that, what chance has he got.

I see all the Utd haters are vocal today. Surprise, surprise!

Did he gain an advantage Shami? So if he didn't see it then they can take action against him after the game right? He's tried to con the ref after all.
