Yet they seem to be ok without him. You can say whoever you want is pivotal as a manager. Doesn’t make it so.

City are a better and more complete side than us but that isn’t surprising. That doesn’t change our issues without Pogba. I’m simply saying that city wouldn’t be anything like as good without their best midfielder.

They have also had to rely on two absolutely gifted goals so far.

City have hardly been good today, all the goals have been defensive errors. They've created nothing at all.

I think you missed the point of Purdy's original post. Yes, City are doing ok without him and yes City are a better and more complete side. The point Purdy was making was why, given the fact that both sides have spent similar amounts, are City so much better than Utd and able to cope with 1 or 2 injuries yet 1 injury to Pogba and that's a good enough excuse for Utd not being able to win?

Bailly and Pogba missing affects us much more than City missing Mendy and Stones :p, without question.

Anyway, doesn't really change anything as we should have adequate support etc, and don't.

The Ref has been awful but I don't think we've lost because of it.

Dear god, we are missing defenders as well. If you think Mendy is as important to City as De Bruyne is or Pogba for United I give up.
 
What a poor day for the league, diving, garbage football and poor refereeing. At least City could face teams with a pair of balls in Europe.
