Great atmosphere at the bridge tonight!

Have to give City credit though, Chelsea never looked like scoring in that second half despite having the man advantage. There was a lot of side to side stuff in front of the box but little in the way of actual danger.
In all fairness, for large parts of the second half it was hard to tell that Chelsea were playing against ten men. City coped well, though they clearly lost their attacking threat after the sending off. What really winds me up is seeing comments on the BBC live feed from City fans saying things like 'the ref let us down tonight'. City were lucky to have only one man sent off, and I'm not convinced that was a penalty on Silva. Yes there was contact, but he went down unbelievably easily. All in all, I'd say Chelsea deserved the result, and it's great for the prem.
Mate that was more of a penalty then modric dive yesterday
If Gary Neville says its stonewall, it's stonewallbut there's no point crying about it. We're still top, and the only 'top' team we have left to play away from home is Arsenal, which on reflection is still a pretty strong position to be in. Says a lot about where we've come when at the end the Chelsea players are that bloomin' happy about beating little old us
Was only last season we were parking the bus against them!

You dont deserve to be fighting for titles. your club diddnt esablish itself as a power house from the bottom like liverpool, arsenal and united. you freaking bought your way into the top level. undeserved.
how does barry get into the city start up? it could just be me but i didn't see him do anything. take silva out of city's play and that's a large part of the battle won.

Despite that result, it's still a big ask for any team to beat City. Although City had a tough game tonight and have another tough one against Arsenal next weekend, United still have to play most of the big teams away, so I think the momentum is still with City. Having said that, with Yaya Toure going to the African Cup of Nations, and the busy Christmas fixture list coming up that could potentially result in injuries, it's going to make things interesting.

As much as I dislike how much money they have spent, they are top of the league without breaking any rules, so therefore deserve to be fighting for the title.
