His contribution today? Zero. Same as our other forwards the vaunted yet horrible Jesse and mata... You know mata has like 5 assists all season in the league. Still that's one more than last year!!

Edit just checked lindgard has 1 assist in the league this season... Lo...

Jordan vertout of Aston villa has the same number of assists as Jesse and mata combined in the epl. That must be setting alarm bells ringing surely?

Its really not. He manages to kill any attacking intent in the middle of the pitch because he can't stay up front. I would rather have someone who can put chances away if given them in the final third than someone who kills most of our attacks before they get going.
