Alderweild what a buy. Great header of the ball
Minus a couple of dodgy moments defending set-plays, that was an outstanding performance. I was slighty worried about Stewart in midfield against Imbula and generally a massive and powerful Stoke side but he looked at home. He gets a lot of (undeserved imo) stick from our fans but Milner was the man of the match for me - it looked like he'd been picked in CM with Allen to the left to babysit Stewart but he was everywhere. Picked up another couple of assists (10 for the season now?) and was central to almost everything for us. 2 goals for Origi was more reward for the shift he puts in but Sturridge was the other big bonus for us today - got his goal but his general play was excellent and he's starting to look like he's getting back to his very best.
Nearly forgot Ojo. Looked a bit out of his depth tbh but still produced a great individual moment to get us back ahead just before HT.
