Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [9th - 13th September 2011]

Barca just thrown away a 2 goal lead in a matter of minutes, with a long backpass from in the other half all the way back, for their guy to just run onto it. I was mostly watching the Utd game though, I think Busquets got a yellow for a handball that from the bit I saw from a replay, looked like he saved a goal by tipping it onto the bar, so should surely have been a red?

EDIT:- Saw the replay, Villa with a ridiculous long ball back to the keeper, guy goes around him and makes a bit of ameal of it, goes wide, chips it in Busquets sticks his hand up tips it onto the bar but it comes down and someone else taps it in. Definate red, can't see how it wouldn't be, ridiculous situation for barca to be in , 2-0 up, absolutely cruising and just insane mistakes to throw it away.

Absolute throw away comment from Dogleash as usual. Whats he expecting for the FA to have a penalty shoot out and see if they can get the goals back ??? Sue the referee's for getting the wrong decision or is he saying the ref's have purposely made the wrong decision.

An absolute nonsense. 'I'm going to tell my Dad that the teachers always pick on me and get it wrong. It's so UNFAIR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Call it what you want, Karma maybe, but I have watched enough football over the years to have seen Liverpool get a lot more than their fair share of dodgy Penalties awarded for jack all.

Barca haven't fielded their strongest team and consequently haven't completely crushed Sociedad, they got to 2-0 through hard work rather than swagger and they've thrown it away with some terrible defending. Better stick Messi on!

Busquets should have got a red for handling but once again he cheats and gets away with it. They still scored though!
 
Damn. Changed it to watch Barca throw away 2 points and Chico scores.

How come theres always a goal when you look away for just a second?!?!?!!?
