Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [9th - 13th September 2011]

NEVER!!!!!

He scored a hatrick against sunderland when we won 5-1, hence the 5under1land then him

:D :D :D

Brings back good memories, I don't care about the score, I was in New York at the time :p I was shocked when I looked up the score on my iPad though.

I was sat in the stand right behind the goal where he got his 3rd and seeing *** head bramble get sent off :) Ah I miss that game, was also there against the epic come back against arsenal

All that hoo har in this thread and it looks like De Gea might be dropped anyway.

I hate you for using the sun as a source

Seriously though, I haven't been able to sleep yet, and only just realised there is, if you care about scottish football, basically none stop from 12.30 through 11ish. 3pm for the EPL, Barca at 5pm, Utd at 5.30, Real at 7pm against Getafe will probably be the usual bloodbath, and Valencia vs Athletico which could be very interesting, probably Falcao's first game and Valencia started off with a cracking game.

Big test for Pool today against Stoke. It's the sort of game they would have lost last season so interesting to see how they get on. Carroll would be good for today.

Aii id say Coates due to his height and strength that people say he has but too soon to throw him in unless KK thinks he is 100% ready.

Disagree! Never understood that attitude. There's no point in out-Stoking Stoke, instead keep the ball on the floor and play to your own strengths, not theirs.

Agreed. We've been moving the ball well enough this season to play around them. They lack a bit of pace at the back - get Suarez and Downing in behind them.

I agree using pace hence why i want Downing/Bellamy/Suarez all to play.

I mentioned him cause Carroll/Coates would still be usefull in the box for set pieces, God its too far away 3pm is too long of a wait :(

It's fine by me. If he's a good pro he'll be eager to prove to Fergie he can cope with these teams next time around.
