Greenpeace currently has 3 ships travelling around the world on it's "Quit coal and save the planet" tour, now one of those ships is diesel powered.

Should they not all be sail boats in order to "Save the planet?"

I said this to a Greenpeace activist in Manchester about 3 weeks ago, who was telling me we have ships and people around the world trying to spread the word about climate change. He told me to stop changing the subject.
 
They were in my town centre the other day pleading with people to sign there petition on saving paper!!

Yes you had to sign a piece of paper!:rolleyes:
 
I'm sure if you looked into it, they are also painted using really dangerous paints, they eat meat on board and they might even have leather sailing accessories on the deck. They probably use some radioactive elements in their electronic equipment and have all number of animal tested cosmetics for the ladies on board ;)

All that being said - they still have a point.
 
I admire some of the stuff they do, saving endangered animals and the like. I also don't see the point in making whales extinct when there are plenty of fish we can eat just so some rich Jap can have it on toast. I would prefer my grandchildren get the chance to see one.

But at the same time it is the way they do it, it boarders on terrorism. protests should be peacful. but then again i isn't like they work, our government has no balls.
