Right, there are a total of 116 P.O.B (people on board) at any one time
I work on the oil separation section atm, but eventually I will learn gas, and utilities which covers most of the platform.

There are 4 chopper days a week: Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri and more if required. If you are ill, or anybody in your immediate family is very ill, you will be flown off a soon is practically possible.
I work 14 shifts: 7, 12 hour nights, then 7, 12 hour days, this includes 2 quick change rounds to get you from one to another. The shifts are 06:30 -18:30, 18:30 - 06:30. You get 3 meals a day and all the fruit, cold snacks and ice -cream you can eat
Starting salry is £47,800 per year rising to £52,000 after I have learned the 3 outside job areas.

You cannot fish over board. There are lots of fish and quite a few seals around the platform. The fish are mainly coley, and there a quite large shoals of them.
The weather mainly wind, sleet and rain can be quite bad in the winter. If the wind speed goes above a certain level we keep outside routines to an absolute minimum.
