Anybody who can be bothered to watch the documentary will quickly notice her Mum doesn't give a stuff and her Dad has to follow her around and try and stop her tantrums.
It makes me laugh when conspiracy theorists offer up that her Mum and Dad have business interests.
In my experience most of them don't actually care beyond a superficial level - largely just parroting what they've been told to say/think without really knowing why and are even more focussed on what is right in-front of them rather than the bigger picture than ever before.
No generation is going to do any better until they are forced to confront the mess by the circumstances having a direct impact they can't ignore and that is the sad truth.
By and large it is all talk to look good with few people truly taking it to heart and even fewer actually being conscientious at an individual level or making a positive difference at a global level.
People are free to believe whatever they want.
I see that the teenagers very often argue with their parents and today, these days it is the best time to go against the society "norms".
Because today's society has mostly meaningless existence - only driven by profit and materialism, and use of technology selectively to gain more profit but rarely represents the right actions.

Our problem is not only the global warming with all of its consequences but also the high levels of atmosphere pollution because of the dirty exhaust particles, etc...

From all the times I've seen her speak, she is incapable of satire or any kind of humor. Whether that is a result of her autism remains to be seen
