Greta Thunberg

This is a falsehood. There are not many scientists who disagree with the IPCC climate projects, there is a very small minority - at most 3%. There is a clear scientific consensus on the data and the models. Whilst neither can be complete, the trends and causal links are clear.

The narrative that there isn't a clear consensus across climate scientists is simply wrong.

Where did you get your numbers from?

@dowie

You did it in the benefits thread! You were not highlighting what you are saying you were, you were being contradictory and loling away with someone elses joke with something you don't get! Man, you didnt even realise that someone who has paid enough NI is entitled to contributions based benefit, the first thing you said was him getting messed around was right, that he didnt deserve anything because he had some redundency pay. I couldnt make this up! xD

Why on earth are you banging on about benefits in here? And no reducing benefits or changing the system to universal credit is not fascism or nazism... that's lunacy - you're saying you get it but then repeatedly come back (10 times now you've quoted me over this) and demonstrate that actually you really don't. Though if you're going to rant about benefits then at least try to locate the right thread I'm aware that locating things (like where a county is) has been an issue for you in the past - that ended up with several posts of nonsense from you too.

@dowie

Now I know I'm dealing with somebody special... I've not quoted you since you said I had quoted you 8 times? And now it is 10 times. Hmmm. I guess you missed what I said about the yorkshire border thing in one of todays posts... I've actually deleted it now, but if you are lucky maybe someone saw it and will let you know.

It has been a pleasure talking with you, have a great weekend! :D

@Threepwood as always I'm rather bemused by your inability to understand basic things. If I were you I'd take another look at that Jonathan Pie video, in particular pay attention to the bit where he explains some basics of nazism. Just a tip - it isn't when the Tories make changes to the benefit system, it isn't when some place you don't believe should belong in Yorkshire gets added to the county and it isn't when people are critical of Greta!

But yes you did indeed quite me 8 times, I should have said you caused 10 notification over this nonsense... small victories eh but you got me there, well done. Now try to grasp a bit more than just counting to 8 and you might not need to do it so much. ;)

@dowie

Eee you are bugger. I'm from oop north, I have family around that area... it's an in joke that they are not from yorkshire. Did you ever feel like you were being wound up on purpose in that thread? Or was it lost on you?

Anyway, Nazis chose to kill disabled people, the benefits system chose to kill disabled people, they just went about it a different way. I don't know how more simple that can get, likening one to the other, even if it is not swatzi wearing full on fascism.

That is but one example of how the benefits system has been "likened" to nazi fascism. At one point 9 sick and disabled people were dying every day before they got any help from the system, it is debateable how many of them died as a direct result of this, but a % of them did, needlessly! Obviously some died because they are ill, duh, but any % is too much when it comes to the ones who killed themselves etc over being mucked around (Yes I know someone this happened to, they had had enough and topped themselves). The extra shame on the system, is that that systematic abuse of people who were 10000% entitled to their benefit actually COST more money than it saved, so it was hardily a cost cutting excercise, was it? And this was all put in place by IDS, so it is hardily a giant leap to say, "well IDS must be a bit of a fascist then, right?". I can totally understand and grasp that line of though anyway. I imagine you could if you had experience of the same.

@Threepwood
LOL you really don't get it but if you like then do go ahead and keep calling IDS a "fascist" and carry on getting triggered when others point out that all this throwing around of terms like fascist and nazi inappropriately is rather silly.

You claim that your nonsense in the Yorkshire thread was just a wind up, but frankly the arguments were as naive as the ones you're throwing in here - I suspect you're just retrospectively claiming that as you were rather silly.

omg @dowie I'm not actually calling him or the system a nazi fascist regime, I'm saying you can't really blame people for pointing out the similarities because the similarity exists! Please tell me you can understand that? And you can do one with your triggered crap, its as bad as folk using the word nazi and fascism inappropiately, maybe Pie should do an episode on that hmmm?

@Threepwood given the number of times that you've either quoted me or notified me over what was a light hearted comment then yes it does seem to have triggered you. You still don't get it, I'm referring to people using nazi and fascist inappropriately and no getting annoyed at changes to the benefit system doesn't imply some similarity to fascism. If you were referring to say the BNP etc.. then you'd have a point but you don't. You're just continually moaning at me about benefits in a thread that has nothing to do with them.

Not being funny but I crumble without a script when public speaking so if a 43 yo man can be awful so can a 16 yo with a ton of mental illnesses...

Not sure what that video proves, about 4th time it's been posted.

I mean look at career politicians too, a lot of them are morons when it comes to improvising
That black labour chick. Can't remember her name.

Everybody must also remember that English is not her mother tongue, so there are bound to be times where she is somewhat confused and may miss the point of questions being asked of her.

Firstly their EU generation probably speak English better than us. As said she's overlapped her scripted responses and hit with real questions and doesn't know how to respond as she's totally controlled. Doesn't want to be exposed as a fraud.

16 year old with aspergers speaking a different language to her mother tongue crumbles? lol.
Some people really feel threatened by a 16yr old girl, don't they?

It's like there's almost some inner recognition that the position they've taken is logically inconsistent and entirely to support some bigoted and/or outdated worldview.
