The reality is she feels like that is pointless when we are facing a potential runaway climate change event/events, so instead she is focusing on trying to change that. Seems rather admirable to me.

A lot of them do it with permission of the school.
My youngest's school did a walk out, but all the naughty kids took it as a reason to bunk school and play havoc in the town.... it turned out to be rather self defeating for the ones who were doing it for the right reasons. So the next walk out was planned and with the schools permission.
But she is a puppet and missing an education.

At this point the school are probably paying her a full time wage to preach about it, the education system is lost to far left policies.
If someone from the same school wagged it to be a sceptic they'd probably be taken in to care by social services.
World socialism. In other words no more individual liberties only a collective responsibility a la China. The government is your god if you say otherwise off to the camp you go just ask China's Uighur Muslim population how that works.
