Grid 2

I don't really have an issue with the dlc, certainly not to a purchase issue and if preordering gets me a whole load of dlc - all good. DLC encourages the developer to continue supporting the game imho

one thing i noticed and i hope they remove it is the black borders on play back :( in dirt 3 that bugged me for longggg time :p .

does look awesome and im hoping it is great.

I'm still pondering about it at the moment. Seen that there are BTCC cars in the game which makes me want it but just holding fire for a little while. And I'll probably get it on ps3 in the end. PCs ford football manager :)

Sorry what? No purchase from me, if this means we'll have to pay for tracks, vehicles and upgrades etc.

Sounds like in game cash, like in GT or Forza? Rather than real world cash. Like in Forza when you get discounts for loyalty, etc.

I'm keeping an eye on this, the steam reward seems to be creeping up really slowly now currently at 48%, i like the idea of the extra DLC but its only a if,and the game can be had for £22 at a couple of other places which will activate on steam the same

Copies bought elsewhere won't get the extra DLC. That is only available to people preordering through Steam. A £22 version from elsewhere will be the base game.

No this is not the case, I believe this is referring to the online aspect of grid 2 where you earn in game currency. You then use this in game currency to purchase vehicle upgrades.

Said i wouldnt get this but....Got it from GMG using 25% off code, for £20.25.

Comes with the headstart pack.

No doubt the £6.74 saving will be spent obtaining the missed Steam DLC. Not sure if i'd be happy paying that - We'll see.

Saved £6.74 though.

So... they're taking away an aspect of circuit racing - learning and perfecting the track - by having it randomly change each time?

Does this change each race, each lap?

That's live routes and applies to the "championship" races, there are other types of races like point to point or set tracks so that kind of thing will still be there.
Live routes is pretty interesting because you can't learn the track, it relies more on reactions and skill.

Live routes is more of a gamemode for City tracks. City tracks will also have circuit configurations tied to them for normal races. Plus there are the usual circuit tracks as well.
