the first Grid was huge fun. but i hope they go the way of the DiRt series and ruin what i thought was a good brand

This should be good, I enjoyed drifting in Grid a lot. No other racer allowed you to drift so well and with amazing car mechanics unlike in games like TDU and even some other NFS titles where the car feels like it's rolling on butter.

I loved GRID1, but I seriously doubt GRID2 will surpass SHIFT 2, let alone Project CARS.
Codemasters just don't have it in them anymore, imo.

The only thing I really liked about the first was the obscenely unrealistic drifting mode where you can freestyle drift through docks and stuff.

I hope the second one is better!

It appears that I have Grid in my steam Library and it's only showing 33 mins played. I assume I didn't like it, but this thread is tempting me to re-install and try again....
