08/08/12 = Show a video of the actual gameplay, everyone gets excited by the content
09/10/12 = More videos and a ridiculous "Race on the surface of the Moon" mode, but there's more "real" races so everyone will win
25/03/13 = Release date
25/03/13 = Buyers find out half the content is missing that was shown in the videos
27/03/13 = CM release their first of 50 DLC packs with the content you thought would be in the game to start with. Only ends up costing 3 times as much as the base game.
29/10/13 = CM release GRID Zero Gravity even though no one liked "Race on the surface of the Moon" mode

I own 2 copies of the first...
One on PC (which I can't magic into working at the moment annoyingly) and one on ps3 which works but is slow loading... (and looks worse than on my old mbp).
Amazing game! Cannot wait for a second, especially for more F3000 spec cars! Charging round donington and spa in those beasts was worth the price of the game over and over.

Interesting to see Codemasters embracing Steamworks after being in bed with GFWL for so long.
Maybe F1 2012 will get the same treatment?
I can only assume their contract with MS came to an end and they decided not to renew seeing as after each release, they received hate about the inclusion of GFWL.
