Grid 2

I think you can select voice in the lobby then set it to only friends or Grid 2 party as then you can only hear and be heard by your friends or Grid 2 party. At least that is what I sued yesterday and it seemed to work fine!

Joined!

I usually finish around 7th though so I'm pretty ****. :D

Well I managed all of 1 race before I got constantly nudged into wall and quit again. Awful game with contact on unfortunately :(

I much prefer games with 'no collisions'. I no it takes a bit out of the game, but its not really a simulator is it?! Ive had some really good games without collisions, and it seems to be with people that are also fed up of been smashed at the first corner.

I have found the same.

I think it will improve over time.

The first corner is a nightmare in online play, especially if you start at the front and try to judge your braking point carefully - you normally get at least one numpty piledriving into the back of you.

But having said that, it's still great fun, and the satisfaction of pulling an overtake is exciting. I like the handling, but I prefer arcadey style to sim.

Being a steam rookie, how does one join this? Most of the page is in Russian, and mine's a bit rusty.

And feel free to add me, steam name Kelt55.

not sure who mentioned earlier that they play in short sessions, but ive found myself doing this also.

I play maybe an hr tops a day (havent tried online yet) and have to say im really enjoying the game. For me the different cars definately handle differently, just unlocked some Alfa which is more slippery than a slippery thing in a slipper, compare that to one of the early challengers which feels like turning an oil tanker in comparison.

For me its perfect, im not after a sim, im after something i can pick up and have a quick blast on then bugger off to another game when im bored :)
