Grid 2

Live routes sounds damn interesting. Good job they kept normal circuit racing too.

Would be ridiculous if every race was based on the live routes system

Can't decide if it's a good or bad thing. Part of me thinks, any track that can be workable with live routes, must be very formulaic in layout etc (otherwise it just wouldn't work with some random combinations). Whereas traditional handcrafted tracks can have more variety and attention to detail.

I do like the concept of racing not simply being about learning all the braking points etc but I suspect the reality could be quite frustrating when you get 'screwed over' by a route change that can't be taken cleanly at high speed even with perfect reactions i.e. pot luck.

Looking forward to picking this up but wondering if I should get a wired controller or source a second hand logitech force gt.

i would wait to see how well the game is catered for steering wheels.

the first grid on my dfgt pro doesn't have proper feedback im hoping this isn't the case in this. i am buying this but i dont wanna play it on joypad or with no feedback.

those saying not really a steering wheel game with a decent wheel there is no comparison.

looking forward to next week and release.

Im itching to pre-order this, watched the live stream of it and it does look impressive, lack of cockpit view isnt really a big deal, some games just dont need it, hmmm what to do lol.

I was thinking of doing that, but GMG have it at £20 with the discount code, im guessing that wont count to the DLC counter? And if i did that would it still unlock all the others?
