I get this if I use my soundcard. If I use my headset with its own drivers(usb headset)The game is fine. Soundcard is a XFI fatality.

Just saw a mate dive into this and forgot it even came out!

Is it any good? I'm looking for something on the same level as Forza...

Edit... A blurry in car view? No thanks. Good by Grid. You could have been a great game.

Thats opinion. It isn't on the same level as Forza, ain't even near it.

Its an okay game to buy for around £5 I guess but the series is a joke now after Grid 2.

I prefer Grid to Forza which I find very boring. Forza 5 has the most drab career I have played tbh.

Grid is fun especially online. It's more arcade than Forza which to me had some horrendous car physics.

For me if you want fun play Grid. If you want sim play GT6.

I also prefer Grid to Forza/GT. I was thinking about this today of how boring the racing is in those games. The car modding and all that stuff is great but the racing is just sooooooooooooo boring, I know they are based around simulation but if you want that style go all out with rFactor/Iracing.

Game has been running smooth for me and I'm surprised just how different each class of car actually feels it was hard going from the open wheels to the muscle cars

Been smooth as butter for me maxxed out. Although my wheel keeps "clicking and clunking" with the FFB, guess thats normal? I tried turning it down but its still annoying and loud at night.

Been playing through the career most of the evening, bar a couple of breaks for the footy.

At the moment I'm loving it, works really well with the G25, the races always seem to be fairly tight and the visuals are lovely. I'm maxing it out with my old GTX 680 and an i7, no issues with crashing, so far so good

I have had every series including the old TOCA years back and this is one of the best so far.

Only played a few career events so far and loving it.

Slightly worried that Multiplayer will be full of speed and level hacks as usual.

I've heard that Codemasters are going to start to introduce banning but we will see.

i posted it how to fix it i had the same issue , its because replay file is on c drive. as quoted instead grid 2 put grid autosport i had same issue it solved the problem .

Hmm, will look into these, thanks. But not sure if the bugs are the same, my screen freezes for a couple seconds and then the screen goes black whilst the game still carries on, the sound and controls still work. Only way to get out is Alt Tab.

same as mine,.black screen but game is still going with sound. Been playing with my Astros on and haven't had a black screen since. I don't get any stuttering.

What happens if you run in windowed mode? I noticed I had one of those Windows 7 "please disable aero" popups before which caused the screen to go black.

It's an Arcade racer ?

That's a bit like saying Battlefield is not as good soldier sim as Arma.
