Have you played Autosport ? I would say it's on par with Grid 1 if not slightly better.
The tintops still feel like you're driving on jelly.
They steer on their central axis instead of steering from the front.
The open wheelers are better which makes me wonder wtf they've done to the handling model of the other cars.

Quoted for truth. In fact there's no doubt in my mind that it is better than the original Grid.
I too am also wondering whether Mr Murray has even played it

How can you say, with certainty that Forza or GT6 is better, surely a games worth is subjective to the person playing it?
Most improper use of the word 'Fact'.
I won't be giving them my money simply because the cockpit looks worse than a game released in 2005.
I might buy it when its around £15 just to see if they've managed to **** it up like Grid 2.

I for one find it odd that your so active in this thread when it appears you havent tried the game and arent willing to give it a chance, whereas of all the people who have bought the game are very happy and singing its praises, the only issue seems to be the stutter which is easily fixed.

Seen as games are meant to be 'played' then surely if you haven't played it you aren't in a very strong position to comment on how it plays?
I can comment on how the previous games in the series which this one looks very similar too the ones I've played so therefore I can comment on how I think this one looks.
Grid 1 was great. Grid 2 was awful and this looks meh.

It looks stunning with the HD pack and all settings at max with 8x AA and 1440p. It's one of the best looking racers out there if you ask me. Lots of off track detail as well add to the immersion.
You are missing it not playing this especially if you like Grid 1.
I'm a huge Grid fan and have played them extensively. Grid 2 was a disappointment for me as it was for most. This is much more like Grid 1 with better handling and graphics.

So you are basing your opinions based on a low res video of the Xbox 360 version.
I think you might be in the wrong section and require the console section.
It's blurred but a lot more detailed. Tbh I use the bonnet cam as I find the cockpit cams to restrictive so it does not bother me. Every other part of the game is fantastic.
I won a race last night because the leader over cooked it on the last corner and started doing cartwheels in front of me it was quite a spectacular site tbh.
For the sake of £16 not buying it just because of the cockpit cam is a bit silly if you ask me. Every other aspect of the game is superb. On pc anyway the console versions are very low res in comparison.
I think it's superb that Codemasters have not released a next gen version and given PC players a decent very well optimised version of the game. This does not happen very often.
Simply put if you loved Grid 1 on pc and have a decent spec machine you will like this.
So stop moaning like a girl open your wallet and treat yourself and come on in and see what all the fuss is about...
