GRID Autosport

Any reason why this isn't launching with eyefinity?
Works fine with single screen... Works fine using the second screen option in game but soon as I boot it up the grid logo comes up the screens go black then it goes back to desktop and doesn't load up.
Dirt 3 works fine but this not so much...
 
Tried my first time with no assists. Manual clutch and H shifteer on G27 using a tuned JDM RX7. I've never had so much fun, and the sounds.. it was like I was in fast and furious :D
 
Hmmmmm, interesting...

Been having the Black Screen freeze issue in Windows 8.1 64bit, fired it up last night from Vista 64bit instead and the issue has completely gone. With everything on max I get smooth fps and I managed to actually finish races without it freezing.

Seems to be OS/driver related. Hmmmmmmmmm...
 
This really is fun to play, those little kit cars are superb.

Only playing with a controller but still having a blast, almost makes me want to buy a wheel setup.
 
Guys to save you any frustration I would back up your saves just in case. There may be a bug present in the save system related to progress, check the steam forums.

I'm getting the same problem. Exactly the same problem existed in Grid 2. That was solved for me by the force dx10 edit. Not working this time for GA.

Really disappointing that CM still haven't fixed this issue yet.

Probably a stupid question but here goes..
I play on an xbox 360 controller but each time I load the game I have to go into options and set it as the controller. How do I make it default so I don't have to set it each time I load the game ?

Do you have more than one control device, wheel, joystick?

You may need to go into 'Game Controllers' in Windows then advanced and set preferred device to the 360 pad.

No this is my only control device, other than keyboard of course. I'll try setting it default in windows like you suggested.

When you load the game and it gets to the screen where it asks you to press enter or start, just press any button on your pad (I use the A button) .
 
Started having the centering issues again.

Profiler:
107% overall effects, 0% for the rest.
Enable centering spring, 0%
Use special steering wheel settings, 543 degrees.
Use special game settings is unchecked.

When I start a race, the wheel will think that 90 degrees in straight in game, if I try to make the wheel straight it veers right. Can't remember how I fixed this last time..
