Grom/MSX 125

Came in expecting another crap 125, never seen one before. (125's ain't what they used to be.. old fart mode:p)

But hey that looks a lot of fun, looks great I like it:cool:

Took the sticker off. It was blank lol

Took the baffle out too. Holy..... Measured 118db at full revs

Only 2db lower than twin termis on the 848 ducati

Went out on it just before, comical indeed, can't wait to go work on it tomorrow :D
 
something new here, the Yoshi RS9 exhaust on the Grom has a "Tunable Baffle", has 3 stages:

1. pipe out and collar in,
2. pipe out, collar out
3. pipe in and collar in (stock)

weather been pants and not had chance to get out on it, bar first day when i went to get fuel lol

ordered some Metz Feelfree Wintec tyres and arrived yesterday (£64 delivered!) as recommended by RJ

in 2 minds to fit a tail tidy, lots of forum posts saying the spray up from tyres becomes bad and the new tail tidy doesnt help much with it
 
I decided to go with the 2015 model, bought it yesterday, collect wednesday full acrapovic titanium system :D. some unhappy neighbours!
 
My MSX125 was my first bike and only bike so far since passing my DAS last October for my mid-life crisis :-) Ok the Honda Hornet was enjoyable and like a rocket ship on my DAS compared to my MSX but I can say the MSX is great fun for 6"1 lump that I am, Don't care if I look stupid on a wee bike, brings a smile under my lid every time I go out.

Philips WhiteVision H4 Bulb,
Takegawa Clear Indicators Lens with 1157 Switchback LED Bulbs (Not keen on the amber DRL's can confuse other road users),
H2C Headlight Guard,
H2C Rear Rack,
H2C Rim Tape (gold colour),
H2C Engine Filler Cap,
Daytona Windscreen (though not sure about it looks so have removed it for now),
Magazi Mirrors (with LED indicators),
Grip Puppies,
Louis Mirror Vibration Absorber

Would like to get a Akrapovic exhaust next, maybe after warranty is up Takegawa 143cc BBK, It's a money pit the MSX.
