Weird as it worked here on Vista 64![]()
I wouldn't be happy if I had a quad core 3.3 and the fastest gfx card on the planet and only got 25fps at low res. Even if it's only every now and again.![]()
Ouch, at least that is something the consoles are much easier in.From what I see here Rockstar can go stick their game. I'm off work at the moment and a bit bored, so I was considering buying it.

I too have played PC games for 10 years or so, and video games for over 25 years. Never before have we had so much power, and yet never before have so many games been poorly optimised / optimised for one particular vendor. Half baked programming IMHO, getting the big buck from the consoles and a token gesture port to the PC platform, or sucking up to the GFX vendor that pays best. User satisfaction seems to be further down the list of priorities if you ask me...Hmmm, I've played games on PC's for 10 years or so. That is long enough for me to realise that bottlenecks in the less than perfect architecture are to be expected.
This is a GTA game, peaks and troughs are going to happen when it comes to performance.
me too live update has installed for meWeird as it worked here on Vista 64![]()
yet games like Grid manage to look stunning whilst still maintaining a solid 60fps at 1920x1080 with everything maxed out......
Blame the programmers, not the architecture.

It may well be Blah Blah...This is all a bit blah, blah as people have been saying this ever since I can remember too.
I wouldn't seeing some benchmark results from specs to get a kind of idea of how it ACTUALLY runs...

This sounds rubbish I wanted to play on PC too.
