So you didn't play it to enjoy playing and have some fun with a mate online then? Just to get stats up?
Not that how I play my game has anything to do with losing the stats, it is still time spent.
But I find the best part of online is the free roaming with the cars that I have collected. That's what I find most fun, racing part is fun with friends but that night I raced for the stats, not fun.
I do not enjoy racing against randoms people online, it is not much different to single player really because you don't have the interaction. I do enjoy racing with friends (and I have) online who are on the mic, then you can have a banter.
With the missions/guns, then human players reacts differently to computers and I do enjoy those, and you don't need a mic because talking give its away of what you are doing, but people are too much of, shall I say coward to do a deathmatch with me after they sniped me or ran me over in the free roaming. I always press X after they kill me, and every time they turn it down !
In short, racing with friends, love it.
Racing with randoms, not so much.
Love pimping up cars.
Love deahmatches.
But they all comes down to reward you with RP that pimp the car up, and I did spend an evening doing that for that goal, is that wrong? I am sure lots of people have done that, how come you don't ask them why they do it? Why target the question at me? I am sure you have "grind" out stats before in a game in order to get something, it is nothing new, it is what you do in a lot of RPGs.
