GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

Well I've not played this for about a week but went on yesterday, lasted about 10 minutes. This has to be the biggest game ever with the shortest life. I'll be trading mine in whilst it's still worth a few quid.

You're very up and down with this game lol.

One minute you're saying it's going back and the next you were loving it, now it's back to the shop :p

Sorry to the folks I play with looks like I wont even get on this weekend either, guess it gives you chance to get as good as me eh :D

You missed the Saturday morning rampage :D

It is the stats that I am most bummed about, the money and the cars I "cheated" so it's fair enough if I lose it but the stats I got legitimately. If I still have the stats I can just get the cars backs to the same levels again but I can't because it's all be reset. My stamina has gone to pot, my shooting has gone down to almost none, and even driving is rubbish. It's like I just started the game again.

The stats hardly make much difference anyway, it wont take long to get them back, plus you were what, level 15? At least you'd not lost level 70+ like some have.

lvl 27.

I maxed out stamina, 50% for shooting, 100% for driving.

it says I need to do something like 42 turbo starts for some things (had before), and win like 17 races to unlock certain things.

All of which I already done, I am like a level 27 character but without the stats behind it. It was especially annoying when I had spent an evening racing and doing survival missions (finished it twice) with a friend for the sole purpose of getting our stats up, he too just started the game. Hell, even did the prison race for 30 mins doing nothing but take turns to win just to get some RP, race wins and turbo starts under the belt.

Anyway, online is definitely still buggy, I get nervous everytime the cloud screen comes up.

Was just in ammunition doing the shooting range, thought I could do it myself, end up joining a sessions someone hosting, took ages to get in the game but when it did, he didn't fire at all. I finished 2 rounds then said "you were kicked from the server from another player"

WHAT THE HELL?

It throws me to single player and when I went back to online, my character was standing in the road, with no money, also there was no icons of missions/races on the map to do, in fact, the map was dead. Press up didn't bring up the phone, press down didn't bring up a list of players on the server. I was worried it might save some of it to cloud so just hard reset the console, luckily the data was fine when i reloaded.

Not sure I'll do much more online. Every time I go on it takes such a long time to load a race or mission, and when it has loaded there are barely any people on them. Doing 1v1 on the same missions again and again is so dull. And even when I host, no one joins? What gives? When something finally loads, a race for example, in 1min 30 you'll have finished, and no doubt some **** has ****ed you up right at the start by driving into you so there's no chance of winning.

Need to play with friends who are on speaker, makes voting easier and you can hurry them doing the vote after a race/mission, it's those that take a long time. Plus I think you can more RP when playing with friends than ransoms.

So you didn't play it to enjoy playing and have some fun with a mate online then? Just to get stats up?

Not that how I play my game has anything to do with losing the stats, it is still time spent.

But I find the best part of online is the free roaming with the cars that I have collected. That's what I find most fun, racing part is fun with friends but that night I raced for the stats, not fun.

I do not enjoy racing against randoms people online, it is not much different to single player really because you don't have the interaction. I do enjoy racing with friends (and I have) online who are on the mic, then you can have a banter.

With the missions/guns, then human players reacts differently to computers and I do enjoy those, and you don't need a mic because talking give its away of what you are doing, but people are too much of, shall I say coward to do a deathmatch with me after they sniped me or ran me over in the free roaming. I always press X after they kill me, and every time they turn it down !

In short, racing with friends, love it.
Racing with randoms, not so much.
Love pimping up cars.
Love deahmatches.

But they all comes down to reward you with RP that pimp the car up, and I did spend an evening doing that for that goal, is that wrong? I am sure lots of people have done that, how come you don't ask them why they do it? Why target the question at me? I am sure you have "grind" out stats before in a game in order to get something, it is nothing new, it is what you do in a lot of RPGs.

I just drove my Bullet into my garage and it's gone and duped it. Not something I was trying to do, was just trying to avoid the cops. Strange happenings.

The people who do this are morons, I recorded this guy blocking the door yesterday when Clown, Invader and I were in a game.

Someone actually managed to get a SUV into that exact same store when I played. He died though, can see his body right there inside the car.
