GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

I kind of took it on faith that the Sultan is the best all round 4 seater and left it at that, my garage is full now, well, 9 out of 10 with the last one being a bike which I haven't found it yet.

Entity XF
Sandking XL
Bravado Youga (A-Team van)
Rapid Dominator (Mustang)
Declasse Sabre Turbo (old school American muscle)
Karin Sultan
Ubermach Sentinel (M3, mainly for the hard top convertible)
Vapid (something), the one that looks like a Cadillac convertible
Z-Type (because it looks different)
(Bike)

Might not get a bike in the end even, and get something stupid like the Rat Loader, or leave that space free to test out other cars.

Exemplar > Sultan to me personally;

more class Aston > Subaru
more speed
better looks
less mods though if your into that sort of thing

Sultan is better for off road use if you stick SUV tyres on it, etc so better if your going out of the city. But imo the Exemplar is the best 4 door car in the game (4 passenger maximum).

So far I have nailed down these;

Exemplar
GTR
Entity (need to buy far too expensive atm since I haven't cheated, hopefully when heists come into play it shall be mine)
Baller (sports version)
Mustang
Akuma (need to buy for races)

So have 4 spaces left over;

May get a sandking and then 3 cars based on what I like with no input on how good they are in game compared to others, like an Audi R8 convertible, etc.

What cars are good for modding? Any pictures of what they look like as well? Not into the whole cheap nasty Futo or Rat Loader things.

Is there any decent 5-6 seaters?

If you YouTube "top 5 modified cars" there are a few videos showing them.

The sultan isn't the best looking but it's not really the looks I am after for that car to do what it needs, normal free mode I don't take it out, much prefer the Sabre turbo or the M3.

There is only 1 car that I know for certain can hold more than 4 people and is the police SUV which you can steal at 4 star wanted level and if you take it to the LSC top of the map you can claim it. Can't mod it except paint job.

Although. the Benefactor Dubsta should carry 8 as well as on the mods there is an option for "side steps", which is what happens with the police SUV, you have 4 inside and 4 outside. The people outside can auto aim and shoot as normal, although they are very vulnerable to attack though in a gun fight !

I went with these, all are good fully modded for races and all do well with me driving.

- Sabre Turbo (muscle)
- Phoenix (muscle)
- Schafter (sedan)
- Baller - Newer version (SUV)
- BF Injection (off road) - did have a clean rebel, but the BF injection is faster
- Akuma (motorbike)
- Comet (sports)
- F620 (coupe)
- Vacca (super) - did have a Cheetah, changed to the Vacca
- Stinger GT (sport classic)

I do still want a Carbonizzare, like i had on my first charcter that went missing, but i dont want to lose any of the above.

Changing the wheels from the standard (lowrider) on the Stinger GT to Sport wheels, made it stop sliding out as much on corners at speed. I havent tried that with any other cars yet, to see if it makes much of a difference.

Any reason why you are keeping the Baller? I got rid of mine because it's neither the fastest car with 4 seats, nor the best off road car with 4 seats, nor a rare car to find.

What's the stinger GT like? Been thinking about a classic and went with the Z-Type, partly because I've not seen another in multiplayer, you can't miss it on the street.

The beach pack is out soon, which includes a new van, hopefully that can seat 4.

Got fed up owning an apartment so just got a 10 car garage

The Baller is fast and handles well for SUV races, it also has a good amount of weight for smashing cars/police etc out of the way on missions.

The Stinger GT is my favourite looking classic, drives well too. You might be able to try a standard on in classic sports races?

I got Stinger GT and the Cheetah (which i later replaced) for free which was a result as i was going to save for the Stinger GT. I joined a session and spawned in someone else's apartment with them (this was when i had the 391k apartment, a very busy building).

If this happens to any of you, i recommend taking any cars you want from their garage for a quick spin, then put them back in the garage and take the next for a spin and return it.

When you join a new session after that, their cars will replace your cars that were in the same garage places. You need to then buy insurance as you only have a tracker on them, but then its as if you bought them, but cheaper :D

Stinger GT insurance cost me 120k, Cheetah insurance cost me 80k.

I guess the races I do are normally hosted with friends, with custom vehicles off. and we never do SUV races, its either Super or bikes or something slow like utility!

Not had that luck spawning into someone's garage....did lose it all though !

I love my Carbonizzare; it's so quick and handles superbly. This is what I have at the moment, I think I have too many Sports cars.

Crotti Carbonizzare (Sports)
Annis Elegy RH8 (Sports)
Karin Sultan (Sports)
Gallivanter Baller (SUV)
Vapid Dominator (Muscle)
Lampadati Felon GT (Coupe)
Police Cruiser - just because
Pegassi Vacca (Super)
Canis Mesa - Mercenary version (Off-road)

I may change my Felon GT for an Exemplar.
I'm trying to find a Benefactor Shafter to have a Sedan.
Probably look for a better off-road vehicle, can you mod the Blazer?
No room for a motorbike. I don't really like them but I guess I should have one.
I'd swap my police cruiser for a police SUV but I think that's a team job to get one of those.

I like it but it corners like a brick though, the back end comes out far too easily at speed.

Someone in an Entity XF chased me down yesterday when I was in it, I knew I couldn't out run him and was about to get out of the car to shoot him instead when on the corner the car turned and flipped upside down, obviously when crawling out of the car I got shot dead !

Apart from that, you are right, no one else has one, as it isn't cheap and plenty of better cars for a fraction of the costs.

Had a game before where me and my friend joined after doing some missions/races.

Had an armoured van in so did the obvious and destroyed it, then literally just as we lost the police, another came, this happened for another 9 to 10 times. I went off as I wanted to watch Walking Dead but I imagine this could have happened a lot by the way things were going!!

Got my list finalised

Super - entity
Sports - elegy
Classic - Monroe
Coupes - exemplar
Muscle - dominator
Sedan - Schafter
Compacts - issi
Suv - baller
Off road - be injection
Bike - akuma

What is better high end or sports alloys? Do the different types within a range make any difference apart from aesthetics?

I wanted other cars but I also wanted one from each class. Hopefully an update comes out with bigger garages ideally 15-20 so I can get stuff like the old Aston old jaguar and the carbonizairre, audi r8 and the voltic etc

I bought the Carbonizairre tonight, great car ! Love the fire out of the exhaust when the turbo kicks in.

And I found out you can damage the car enough that the roof is stuck and won't go down.

Re: the wheels.

They make a difference but the difference are slight. The type of car makes the most difference. i.e. taking the Dominator off road in off road tyres is still going to be worse than taking the BF injection on muscle tyres.

On the tarmac, I just pick any rims that you like the look of.

For off road vehicles however, I stick with off road tyres.

The fire out the exhaust is a bad thing. Some guy shot my gtr so fuel leaked everywhere.

When I got in it and drove off the thing went on fire and blew up. Had to pay for insurance too.

Tried doing it to someone else and ended up blowing their car up.

How do you know that you have hit the right spot?

Never seen that happen before! but I don't care. It's cool !

Yours sound like he poured petrol on your car before you got it in?

And the insurance money thing...when this game is limited by money is no fun, for example, ammo, it is extortionate. Doing survival mission can actually bankrupt you easily. clips just gets emptied and there are not enough ammo in the rounds to get through all 10 waves with just 1 gun. I swear I barely break it even if I do get through the 10 waves after the $20,000 reward in the end. It is more profitable robbing stores.
