How big is minecraft map size?
guild wars nightfall being 15,000 square miles is just bull.
its all instanced, you cant walk from one outpost to the next so the map mostly doesn't exist.
Besides why would anyone pirate GTA games?
@Elemunt, your signature is well outside of the limits imposed by the rules, and animated gifs aren't allowed either, you should change it.
Infinite or near enough.
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/The_Overworld#SizesMCWiki said:In practice, technical reasons (the limits of 32-bit math[1]) force the maximum map size, including the Far Lands, to be around 9.3 million times the surface area of Earth[1], which comes out to about 4.7 quadrillion km2 (The hard limit where chunks are overwritten is at X/Z of ±34,359,738,368, making the world at most 68,719,476,736 meters wide and long, which is about 4,722,366,482,869,645 km2. When compared to Earth's total surface area, 510,072,000 km2, this works out to be about 9,258,235 times that). Whilst the horizontal planes of the maps are vast in size, the vertical plane remains at a fixed (soft limit) 256-block height [2].
As long as they can make it look and play as well as Sleeping Dogs i'll buy it.
If it's like GTA4 it should just be aborted straight away.
I dunno about you folks but I'm bored with the whole errand boy concept of this franchise.
Go here, do that. Go there, collect this. Kill some mafia guys. Take Joe to the shops. ZzzzZZzz
In GTAV I want to conquer neighborhoods, build up my gang strength and roll into other hoods, partaking in if I choose to and create massive gang wars process. Sure have some missions along the way, but ultimately, I want it be a Kingpin.
If this is the way it's going, awesome! But if it's just another game with a 100 boy scout missions to complete, then I'll just stick with a heavily modded GTAIV for a while thanks.
That is of course, after a year or two when the modders bring V to the PC standards it should be.
If they're going to do a remake, they should do Vice City. Still the best in the series in my opinion. Love the setting/sound track, the linen suits, the awesome house you get in the middle of the city etc.
You're missing the vital part of Vice City! Owning the businesses!
Nothing beats the Ice Cream business!
