If its something reasonable like 3 weeks or so wait after consoles, I'll wait.

If not looks like I'm bucking up and buying it for Xbox. As much as I hate console Grand Theft Auto is one of those games you need on launch.

Regards to people thinking IV was a flop, I really liked it. But I do agree in the sense it was "simple" and not as fun. You have to think of it as an investment though. Just like GTA III, IV was a new generation engine for the 360/PS3 and all the physics etc. had to be built from ground up. But now in GTA V's case the engine is already built, they just had to add a **** tonne of new features like properties and vehicles (Vice City/SA).

Just go on gtaforums and take your pick, tonnes to choose from. Instead of recommending from tens of thousands pick what suits you.

Personally I like map mods.

If it's a year wait then I won't be buying it with that kind of response/attitude from them.

Doesn't mean I won't play it though be if borrow a disc off a friend or whatever.

Whatever happens I will only pay for one. If it's something stupid like a year long wait, i'll buy it on PS3 then pirate the damn PC version when it's out.

No way am I waiting for it to be released on PC. I'll have to get it for the PS3 as the Xbox is broken. Finally something comes along where I can get some good use out of the PS3, it's been sat there gathering dust for ages now.

Dont have a console so forced to wait for the pc version.

Probs will "borrow off a mate" first then I will try to resist buying it at full price and wait for a sale tho just as a small fu to them.

I have only turned my 360 on once in two years and was gonna get rid of it as it is pretty useless but I might keep hold of it now. At the moment I feel like the posters above that I don't want to give Rockstar a penny, but things might change if I am at a loose end with no games to play when this is released.

Sod waiting for the PC version - it'll be bloomin ages and I bet most of you patiently waiting for it will give in. It is for this reason (and Smackdown vs RAW 2007) that I have still have my ancient launch day 360.

I have never turned to my PS3 since i've had my PC, however like I said and like you, I will have to if it's not within a reasonable window.

it will be £50 without a doubt on consoles. plus like gta4, it will run at some **** resolution of 620p upscaled to 720p. fukl of jaggy edges and crap.

Seriously i stopped playing gta4 halfway as the graphics were shocking. giving me a headache

I don't understand why so many people are shocked that the game is being released on console first. Besides GTA was more about game play rather than graphics anyway.
