Possibly, I do have this setup on my computer for this reason, although it depends how well it works from abroad. I just worry about leaving it on while I am away! I also need CJS keys to confirm they will refund first before I go buying it on steam. I don't fancy being that much out of pocket!

You can't compare any game to GTA V PC because it's not out yet, what you can do is have confidence in the ability of a team with a proven track record, who's latest port exceeded expectations.

Did anyone pre-order this from GMG when you could get it for a few pennies over £30?

Just wondering if I'll get the key in time to pre-load - if pre-load is even possible with this version.

Pre-load will be possible with all digital downloads I'd imagine. Don't worry!

I notice that the Steam store says that GTA 5 has STEAM achievements, just wondering how this will work if it runs via social club..?

It runs in Steam and Social Club is just a background thing a la Max Payne I'd imagine.
