Whys that, just for integration, updates and stuff ? Im only buying steam because I want to empty my steam wallet, not pre ordering I might even wait for a while not sure yet, depends on reviews etc

Same kind of reason here, Sold my CS GO guns/cases, Got around £30 for them.
 
Yeah, shame on the CD-keys. I think I might just leave my Amazon retail order alone tbh. That neatly gets around download server meltdowns as I should only need to grab any day 1 patches.
 
Nope, not that I know. Before I ordered from CJ's keys i actually cancelled my retail GTA5 preorder as I wanted steam.

I'll probably end up buying it on Steam the day before release if I have enough cash, or the first payday after ( round the 20th). As buying on steam is apparently the only way to get it in the steam library!

Have you heard back from CJS yet?
 
Looks like we can transfer our characters, game progress and get bonus stuff as "returning players" if were gamed on last gen consoles too:

Yes, it's a couple of pages earlier.

Status is officially ''refunded'' now.
Probably because I never gave them my money in the first place, ( before paypal took my money from my bank, I opened a dispute, blocked the upcoming direct debit, and they (Paypal) escalated it to a claim because I blocked the transaction from my bank :D).

Quite happy they transfer the online part as you would lose all your cars and houses otherwise! All I had done on the 360 was online for the most part, Love just cruising around, Can't wait for PC with the increased visuals.
 
I hope GMG let us preload early too. I read somewhere that it will only be steam and rockstar warehouse that will let people preload from the 7th.
 
To be fair, GTA 4 ran like crap on some computers which were top spec. So yeah, it can run like crap if it hasn't been optimised properly.
