cjs key waste of time biggest bs ever ordered steam key got social club key wrote to them week ago no answer posted on there fb page just now will contact bank for fraud monday

I preordered a DVD too, but im not looking forward to installing that, i havent had a dvd drive in years and always have to install over network on my laptops dvd drive, takes forever......I regret never installing a SSD into my laptop now, would be much quicker installing it to the laptop then taking the drive out and sticking it in my pc then dragging the files over to my SSD.

On the plus side its only costing me 24 quid instead of the silly steam price.

They really are, they were fine but they have really messed up with GTA 5 (changing from Steam to SC, charging for pre-order bonuses (??? seriously... :confused:, customer support, etc).

One evening I was looking for other contact detail apart from their ticket system 'cause they would just not reply, found this email on their FB page - [email protected]. Sent them an email and 5 mins later got a response and they refunded to my PayPal. Dunno if I lucked out and they saw it as soon as I saw it, but it worked either way, may be worth a try.

Same here, has been 10 days and no reply from their CS. I merely agreed with a comment on their facebook page posting similar to you and have since been blocked from commenting on their posts. When I get back from holiday on Wednesday I will be reporting them to mastercard for fraud and will initiate a chargeback. Have also tried emailing them, will see if I get a response.

Have you got a link to that? I can't find anything.

From what I understand/have read on how steam works is we just have 60gb of encrypted data atm, which when decrypted is essentially just unpacked so it will be like trying to extract a 60gb rar archive to the same location, you'll use up 120gb during the process as you have both the encrypted and decrypted data, but then the encrypted data gets deleted leaving you with 65gb used.

It's spread across a couple of files though so hopefully it'll only be an extra 30gb or so needed to decrypt, or it can decrypt the files in place requiring negligible extra space. Hopefully the latter if rockstar have confirmed we only need the 65gb.

Others have managed to, but I only noticed a couple of days after they changed the order and I wonder if due to the high demand they have decided not to issue refunds...or are just working through the long list of requests!

True for Steam - or so dozens of people on NeoGAF seem to think (apparently it's the just way Steam does pre-loads). The RGSC is an unknown. I emailed Rockstar about it as the information didn't seem to be out there, and the support dude advised that I make sure to have ~120GB free anyway.

Can you provide a source? This contrasts everything I've read / heard elsewhere.
 
I sat here for a couple of hours pausing and resuming to get the speed to keep up a bit.
Having reached 52GB I needed to go out so switched the PC off. (paused and closed the client first)

I've just switched it on again and I'm at 37GB with 400KB/s

Really frustrating. I should have bought it on steam.
