Follow that link, some people had duplications after pausing, restarting and having connection drops.

And i thought uPlay was bad. This downloader is atrocious.

Kinda thinking I should have just stuck with my retail version now..... Nuveem didn't give me a key and the rockstar downloader seems bad

Get the latest version and latest update and add the update files to the latest version.

Now Windows will not like running the exes cause they are from the internet - to quickly unblock, create a rar archive of the entire folder and extract it again. Windows will then think you created the files.

Plug your PS3 controller in a let it install the default drivers.

Assuming your bluetooth dongle is on the list of supported devices:
Plug in your bluetooth dongle and let it install the default drivers. Then run Zadig from and go to Device -> load preset and choose "bluetooth.cfg". Then go to options "list all devices" and select your bluetooth dongle from the drop down. Click update driver and it will install a new driver that SCP driver package can recognise and use.

Run ScpDriver.exe and click install (no need for force install) and it should install a bunch of things including DS3 drivers and bluetooth drivers and a service.

Then run ScpMonitor.exe and it should show Pad 1 connected and charging with a Host Address and HCI version and LMP version listed on the right.

The moment of truth is when you unplug the PS3 controller. What should happen is that the PS3 controller will reconnect via bluetooth. Mine does but with these things there is an element of luck involved.

I am not 100% sure what you need to do to connect it wirelessly everytime (I installed it about an hour ago) but I use SCPMonitor+ (link here) and I just ran that tiny program and pressed the PS button and it connected.

So just like the XBox pad that's plug and play?

I don't think i have any duplicates. Download is still terribly slow.

I just did a reboot and just pressed the PS button and the controller connected instantly and works. The only thing running is the SCP Driver Service which starts on boot.

Honestly I am very impressed
