Rockstar Games today continued the slow-drip of Grand Theft Auto V information. The company has released the first official artwork for the game, which is titled "Pest Control."

Additionally, Rockstar said gamers can expect "lots of info" on GTA V sometime in November. It has been previously confirmed that the GameStop-owned Game Informer magazine will feature the game in its December issue.

Surely there cannot be another developer or franchise that can generate this much interest with just a handful of screen shots.

Possibly only valve and the odd Crowbar image.

GTA V Optimisation - I Wonder If

Since GTA IV was HORRIBLY :mad:

optimised, you think they'll improve on this for GTA 5? Even though people consider GTA as a console game, still many people play it on PC - however they didn't consider us as they released IV 9 months later and was craply optimised! I wonder if they are going to do the same with V? hmmmmm.... :confused:

Judging from the fact IV and V are on the same engine as Max Payne 3, which ran beautifully (granted, not much going on but still...) I have high hopes, and I'm as much of a victim of IV as anyone.

Yeh, Max Payne 3 was actually pretty well optimised. Rockstar should take that into consideration. Also, i think i read somewhere that PC V is going to be released the same time as the consoles - but who really knows?

Last night GameInformer released the GTA V issue will be out on November 8th!

It's also an 18 page special

If the issue is out on the 8th I wouldn't be surprised if R* release something beforehand for self-promotion.

Does anyone know roughly how big the world map will be? I.e San Andreas big?

Well the GTA IV map is actually bigger than san andreas just most people dont realise it. Its one of those rose-tinted glasses things where you go back to play it and realise how dated it is.

Really? I swear I saw a comparison a while back and SA was the biggest of the lot but nothing compared to the Just Cause 2 map. Can't find it now but they were all over layed on top of each other to show size.
