Yeah, (C)Rockstar are ****.
So, have they said there is currently no plan to release it on PC or is this internet scare mongering? Have they even revealed exactly what platforms they are releasing it on?
They better do a PC port or that'll be a big disappointment, especially from a modding point of view, just look at GTA4 with all the mods and ENB mods!

Just lol. It is coming out on PC, most definitely. In fact I'd put £100 on it.
Look at every other GTA and tell me that Rockstar are going to say no to mo money, mo money and mo money.

My comment wasn't anything to do with whether GTA was coming on PC, it's just a fact, Rockstar suck the big one when it comes to PC, they've never, ever made a good port besides Max Payne 3.
Hell San Andreas doesn't even run on my Intel Core Duo 1.6 laptop with 124MB GRAM.

That's because your laptop is crap.
Never had any issues regarding gta being a port. It's always been on both PC and console so I doubt anything will change. I agree that they messed up big time with the release of gta4, with its memory leaks/badly optimized. But its a more playable game now, in fact runs damn near perfect.
I wouldn't expect GTA 5 to be perfection, or at least not straight away, but hopefully they've done a lessons learnt session and know how to release a game.

Not at all, dual core 1.6ghz and a 124mb GPU is ridiculously powerful compared to even the highest requirements San Andreas had, it's just an awful, awful port. The only game they got right is Max Payne 3, I'm hoping that changes as Rockstar really make some great games, but I'm not holding my breath.
Reality Pump (creators of Two Worlds II) should give them some lessons in Optimization, never before have I seen a better blend of performance/beauty as what is in Two Worlds II, just wow. Ultra @ 1080p @ 60fps + in the most intensive areas on a FX-4100 and a 6850. That is what games should be like, if developers knew what the **** they were doing, you'd never need the kind of hardware we have now (2GB GPUs, i7s etc.) to run games.

Bully was a good port in regards to performance, saying that you need a pad as mouse/keyboard suck.
Did you ever play any GTA other than IV on PC? If so, ever play them on a PC wasn't modern spec?
Also L.A Noire isn't Rockstar, they had nothing to do with the development let alone the optimization/porting.

Wonder whats up with my laptop then, it's like 3x the spec needed to max San Andreas.
GPU is ******** to put it blunty. CPU is more than enough for SA, but onboard graphics is shocking, for any game.
They said something about there being no information regarding a PC version and you can pre-order for PS3, Xbox 360 and WiiU(I think).

Rockstar can shove the games. After RDR I will never sign or beg them for anything.
Nintendo want it on WiiU but Rockstar said they have no plans for it
GTA5 will come for sure in late 2013 to PC no need to petition them they will no doubt shove as many DRM systems as they can like they did on GTA4 (GFWL/Securom/RSC). GTA5 will just be Securom/RSC & no doubt a system hog Nvidia will be working out their high end deal's right now like they did on GTA4........
After GTA4 terrible gameplay & sluggish FPS on less than top end PC's (my Core i7 965XE in 2008 made it just about playable
) does anyone really care if this comes to PC or not it will never be a return to the classic GTA's like Vice City/San Andreas
