GTA V

Its obvious the reason why they are not releasing it on pc on release day... Its just business nothing personal. I'm sure it will be released eventually just like the other gta's.

I don't have a console this time around, so I will just have to wait.

After GTA4 terrible gameplay & sluggish FPS on less than top end PC's (my Core i7 965XE in 2008 made it just about playable ) does anyone really care if this comes to PC or not it will never be a return to the classic GTA's like Vice City/San Andreas :(

Sadly I feel like this about it. If it did come to PC i'd probably pick it up in a sale cheaply as I fully expect it to be some poorly performing port, jacked to the eyeballs with nasty intrusive DRM and that pointless Social Club rubbish.

That's even before I get onto the game itself, i'm starting to feel like GTA is going the way of the COD/BF series - i.e dumbed down nonsense for brainless console morons.

I don't really get all the hate about what you just said.

So it uses GFWL, or probably will use it. I hate it but it takes literally a minute to sort out and your on the way. Don't even need to bother with social club.

As for DRM? Give me an example of a previous GTA game with a bad case of this?

People on this forum are so paranoid about stupid little details. :p

But it's the opposite  A lot of the gameplay (driving being a perfect example) was far more challenging than previous games.

Might be all nice with physics and stuff in gta iv but i much prefered the way they did driving in SA, i wish it stayed like that as u could go fast and corner much better but in gta iv u have to slow right down to corner which is a bit boring i thought for a game that isnt a sim.

Someone mentioned the social club. Yeah i hated that too in the gta iv game. I dont like the way they made it so it had to be running in order to play, tho i think they removed it after some patches but still that kinda integrated social stuff i never really liked.

Also hope that gfwl isnt in the new game, its not the nicest of systems to use.

Oh and yeah i signed the petition before i saw this topic. ;)

Gta is slowly becoming more and more towards the simulator more to real life aspect and this is where saints row stepped in to fill the gap gta used to fill a fun pick up and play game I much prefer the saints row series the story is not as good but it feels like the older gta's.

I've got a console and a PC but I will only get it on PC. If it isn't released on it...which it almost definitely will be like the other GTA titles, then I'll play a different game.

Therefore, I don't see the need to sign the petition.

GPU is ******** to put it blunty. CPU is more than enough for SA, but onboard graphics is shocking, for any game. :p

Funny thing is, this is the same laptop that could run Stalker Call of Pripyat at 1280x800 on medium settings, yet couldnt at all run San Andreas without the view distance dropped to about 5%. Crap ports are crap ports, end of.

Not signing. If anything it's going to make out that we can't wait and they can just do a lazy port. I'd rather wait and get a well optimised version thanks.

+1

They probably already have it planned to make one for PC, all this is doing is making them get away with a lazy port. They can just do a port like GTA 4 and everyone will be happy because it'll be on PC when it would have been anyway.

lol that petition is going to need more than 66k. They wouldnt bother, that is only going to generate 2.6m revenue for them, less fees.

it would take 100k to get anyone at R* to even bat an eyelid i would have thought.

106k petitioners at time of this post.

Rockstar, we're waiting for you to blink...
