They really have shown their true ways of milking a product for all they can, pure shafted the PC yet again, i feel like going on their forums and telling them to **** *** all about greed nothing more in favour of consoles:mad:

Are you really that butthurt?

People complain if it isn't released on current gen, then complain that they are 'milking a product'. Would you prefer it if there was no PC release whatsoever?

They have released a lot of free online DLC, more than can be said for COD/BF4, among other large AAA games.

I would rather play it on the pc than the ps4 which i also have, all there doing is pushing sales of the pc version down in doing this.

*sigh*

:(

That is all!

And then companies make all these complaints about poor PC sales and this is exactly why you dumb asses......

edit:

Also, I guarantee you that the game will run like **** and probably be full of bugs for the PC for the first few months....

It's annoying. They're shown favor to 4 consoles before giving us a release- they forget it's people on PC who will be buying this game for years to come.

Look at GTA IV, it was released 6 years ago and it's still getting new life and replay value added to it through mods. I think the mod support helps sell games more than any console gimmick will- new copies of GTA IV and Skyrim are still being steadily sold on Steam years after release.

GTA V on consoles isn't selling new copies- a lot of people will buy pre-owned if they haven't got a chance to play it. That doesn't happen on PC- if you want to play 6 years after release you buy a new copy from steam and Rockstar still profits.

I doubt any publisher can say they are profiting from 6 year old games on consoles the same way they do on PC.

That's why I think R* are making a mistake. They could make the largest gaming community in the world their new audience alongside consoles- yet they would rather have a few quick sales on a smaller platform.

Indeed, i could just go out and buy it for my PS4 i still might, but i would rather buy it for my pc for the higher resolution/FPS/mods, one thing i will not do is double dip, i won't be dragged into Rockstar's ways, PS4 is fine for a doss about platform.

I have a nice spec gaming PC but will still be playing it on the PS4... :)

Will get it on PC when released to see if it looks better but going by GTAIV I'm not holding much for the PC release of this tbh.

Oh bugger with the release date, but silver lining and all it could have been pushed back to March / April.

That trailer is rather disappointing, was hoping to see more of what they had done with San Andreas. Also is it just me or has it had a bit of visual downgrade since the E3 trailer?

Knew it would not launch at the same time its probably been finished on PC months ago if development began in 2012 R* do not want to sell on PC first do they.........

GTA4 still sold 1m copies on PC with 3 DRM schemes  wonder how much DRM they can cram into GTA5 in 4.5 months

Looks like Rockstar can't please everybody, moaning when it wasn't released on PC initially and then moaning when it IS released, just slightly after the current consoles... In my opinion it's a good thing, it gives Rockstar more time to work on the PC version, the same people crying about waiting an extra few months are probably the same people who would be the first to moan if it didn't run perfectly on their system.

Indeed. Accentuating the typical entitled attitude of the PC master race. They'll moan while console players have it early, then when it is out on PC, they will go troll the console players, exclaiming how their version has an inferior amount of pixels.

Or if a game never makes it to PC, it is all we don't even want your rubbish console games!

If it came out the same time as the console versions we'd be hearing how they haven't bothered optimising it and just rushed it out so it could be on the shelves the same time as the new console versions, can't win really.

Why don't you get off your high horse?...I can't stand people throwing the word 'entitled' around. It seems to be the new stick to beat people with. Whereas as most people seem to moan about people acting 'entitled', I am thankful that there are still people around who have standards, and won't just accept any old rubbish without speaking up. Rockstar are not doing us a favour by releasing the game, they are selling it to us. We have a right to expect certain levels of service, and quality from the final product.

They could please everyone, by releasing at the same time so that a lot of fans dont have to buy it twice, or not play it for over a year . "slightly after current consoles" lol. A year and 4 months (probably even longer as it'll no doubt get pushed back again) is hardly slightly. So yea, I think that gives us reason to have a moan.

You really think it's taking longer because they are putting extra work into it to make it run perfectly on PC? They couldn't give a crap about PC, when it's released theres a good chance it'll be a rushed unpolished turd like GTA4. Then you will be saying we still shouldnt be moaning lol.

I see this a lot on various forums

do people seriously believe R* will use the extra time to polish the PC version

the PC version was probably finished months ago they are just sitting on it

It's not coming out for the Xbox One or the Playstation 4 until November, the PC version is due in January, that's a couple of months so yes I'd say slightly after the console version is an accurate description.

You're assuming the worst based on GTA IV and that's fine but there's no need to be at the level of butthurt which you are currently occupying. Now I'm not totally up to scratch with the development process but I'm fairly sure they're not just sitting around on their thumbs until January 26th where they press a button that says "ship" and then UPS turn up the following day to start delivering.

That's exactly what there doing, don't forget they wouldn't even say if the PC version was even coming out as no decision was made, now they say its been in development since 2012 R* have proper trolled the double/triple dippers.
